Dundalli Estate sits right on the Maleny–Kenilworth tourist route, placing you at the heart of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Both towns are an easy 20-minute drive in either direction, making it simple to explore the region’s farmers markets, dairies producing award-winning cheeses, artisan bakeries, and some of Queensland’s most beautiful walking trails.

From here you can spend your days discovering waterfalls, rainforest lookouts and scenic country roads, before returning to the quiet comfort of the estate as the sun sets across the range.

The estate takes its name from Dundalli, a First Nations freedom fighter of the 1800s. His story forms part of the rich and complex history of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, and the name offers a small acknowledgement of the deep cultural heritage of this land.

Today, Dundalli Estate offers a relaxed country escape where guests can slow down and reconnect with nature. We are especially popular with motorcycle touring groups travelling the Maleny–Kenilworth loop, as well as couples and small groups looking for a peaceful base to explore the hinterland.
